San Luis Obispo Family Trip '09 - Day 2

We explored the seacliff area of San Luis Obispo a bit more on the second day, and everyone spent a wonderful morning enjoying the nice sea breeze and warm winter sun. After that, we had a simple, but yummy Costco meal at a local park. Dad and the kids got to exercise a bit and played soccer. And right before we were going to leave, Kevin caught sight of a tank next to our motel, and the kids had a bonus fun time climbing the display tank and canon at the SLO Veterans Memorial Museum. It stretched our trip a bit into the sunset hours, but also ended as a grand finale.

San Luis Obispo Family Trip '09 - Day 1

Our 2009 family trip finally came true in November, after postponing a few times due to every family's busy schedule. It was a nice break from the stressful daily routines to spend a couple days with our family by the nice seaside of San Luis Obispo. And we ran into a surfing contest at Pismo Beach and saw some real cool surfers out there!
