This year is the 33rd year for the Santa Clara County Reading Council Young Authors' Faire. Each participating school in Santa Clara County will select 12 students who have written and illustrated original literature to share their work and be honored at this Faire. On that day, all the selected students got the chance to present their stories in front of their schoolmates, and their work got recognized with the Young Authors' Faire gold medal attached.
There were many other activities at the faire, like storytellers, face painting, book fair, balloons etc.. It was a great event to inspire kids to read and write more.
