Blood Moon Lunar Eclipse (Part 1, 2014)

The Blood Moon last night was captivating. I couldn't resist staying away from work to capture this beautiful sight. The phenomenon is known as a tetrad, in which there are 4 consecutive total lunar eclipses, with this one being the first of the 4 eclipses taking place in 2014/15. The weather was barely cooperating, with fog came and went. But it's all worth it - the stiff neck, aching back and all...

See Spica on the right of the moon.
